Vice President for Public Relations (VPPR) is the university’s communications expert and is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive public relations, media relations, influencer engagement, and strategic communications initiatives that enhance the university’s reputation, rankings, visibility, and community engagement.
 
The VPPR will lead efforts to strengthen the university’s brand, promote university priorities, manage crisis communications, and cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media, alumni, donors, government agencies, employers, community organizations, faculty, staff, students, prospective students, families, creators, influencers, and cultural tastemakers.

SCAD enrolls over 18,000 students from all 50 states and more than 120 countries. SCAD employs over 2,000 employees, including full- and part-time faculty and staff.

The office of institutional research publishes a fact book every fall, made available to the SCAD community in December. This fact book contains a collection of commonly used and cited official university statistics and serves as a useful resource to students, professors and staff.
