As an associate director of admission, you will assist with the planning and completion of recruitment and enrollment strategies. You will strive to meet SCAD application and enrollment goals by building individual relationships with students and educators, and will maintain accurate and thorough records in Salesforce for student, organization, volunteer, and travel management. You will travel to strategically identified schools to meet with prospective students and their families, as well as to attend educational and professional conferences with the goal of fostering relationships.

In this role, you will advocate for students by preparing electronic material submissions and other academic documents for scholarship and admission review. You will record and track active applicant files and contact information using Banner and Salesforce. You will proactively communicate with applicants and admitted students following an established schedule to ensure the highest proportion of right-fit students complete the application process and understand the opportunities available at SCAD. Additionally, you will stay knowledgeable about all university policies and procedures to effectively share accurate information regarding programs of study and locations, scholarships, housing, transfer credit, and registration.

In this position, you will mentor new staff members, participate in all quarterly staff orientations, provide feedback to admission leadership, and ensure that SCAD alumni services and parent ambassadors are utilized to support the university’s recruitment efforts. Among other duties, you will also ensure all assigned events are successfully planned, confirmed, and completed, and will cover LiveAgent shifts, SCAD tours, and meetings with parents and students.

The successful candidate is a charismatic self-starter who is comfortable working independently.

Minimum qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional organization, presentation, and writing skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Banner

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license

Travel required:

  • More than 50%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
