As an associate director of admission, you will work to achieve SCAD's application and enrollment goals by building personal relationships with students and educators through extensive travel, presentations, and individual attention. You will review regular application and enrollment reports to assess the outcomes of your activities for future planning and keep accurate, detailed records for students, organizations, volunteers, and travel arrangements. Among other duties, you will visit strategically chosen schools to meet prospective students and their families, and attend educational and professional conferences to build connections. You will also identify educational organizations, government agencies, independent bodies, and other partners in collaboration with leadership and teammates.

In this role, you will plan and execute information sessions, one-on-one days, and other international events. You will advocate for students by preparing electronic materials and other academic documents for scholarship and admission reviews. You will also record and track active applicant files and contact information. Among other duties, you will follow up with prospective students at specific intervals determined by the communication plan, by phone or email, to discuss their interests and answer questions about opportunities at the university.

In this role, you will mentor new staff members and assist with on-campus events such as SCAD Days, Summer Seminars, Rising Star, and Educator Forums. You will work to enhance positive awareness of SCAD. Additionally, you will stay updated on all university policies and procedures to accurately share information about programs of study, locations, scholarships, housing, transfer credits, and registration.

The successful candidate demonstrates exceptional sales and management capabilities. They can also travel extensively and work flexible hours. 

Minimum qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least five years of recruitment or sales experience
  • Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport

Travel required:

  • More than 50%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
