As an awards coordinator, you will gather student work, prepare application packages, and submit materials to national and international student and professional competitions. You will collect the necessary information from students to ensure complete applications and follow up to encourage submission of required materials, such as documents and portfolios. Additionally, you will collaborate with faculty to ensure that the highest quality student work is showcased in the awards program, focusing on high-profile competitions like Red Dot, The Rookies, International Design Awards, European Design Awards, and Fast Company.

In this role, you will collaborate with faculty, academic leaders, and students to increase the number of annual submissions to the SCAD student awards program. You will also identify and evaluate new competitions to support the program's growth and ensure all academic departments are represented. Additionally, you will create Qualtrics surveys to gather student data for award submissions, enter data into Salesforce, and aid the assistant director as needed.

The successful candidate demonstrates exceptional communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The ability to multitask is also essential.

Minimum Qualifications:      

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Cognos, and Qualtrics

Travel Required:  

  • Less than 10%   

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
