As an assistant director of enrollment, you will foster relationships with applicants and their parents as they navigate the admission process through active communication. Each day, you will handle a high volume of phone calls and emails from applicants and educators, answering their questions comprehensively. Your responsibilities will include recording and tracking applicant files and contacts using Salesforce, Banner, and Application Xtender, as well as discussing admission requirements and timelines according to the desired degree type. You will maintain a daily appointment schedule using Calendly, manage active applicant files, and execute data-driven outreach projects. You will collaborate closely with internal departments to strategize, utilizing reports and adviser ratings, and complete events that support SCAD's outreach and recruitment initiatives. Additional responsibilities include preparing deposit-paid students for enrollment through proactive communication and encouraging timely quarterly balance payments.

In this role, you will serve as the primary financial aid contact for assigned students and their families, explaining the federal aid process (e.g., FAFSA, Parent PLUS Loan) and detailing the cost of attendance. This will include reviewing portfolios, résumés, and other potential scholarship guidelines to advocate for students seeking assistance. Additionally, you will stay informed about all university policies and procedures to convey accurate information about SCAD, including, but not limited to, programs of study, SCAD locations, scholarships, housing, meal plans, and class registration. You will participate in various initiatives to reach prospective students, such as webinars, online chat sessions, LiveAgent Shifts, SCAD Days, and more. You will be responsible for occasional Saturday tour coverage and traveling to support off-campus events.

The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills. The candidate is attentive to detail and exhibits a strategic ability to achieve goals. They can perform well under pressure and quickly shift their focus. Additionally, they have experience with Microsoft Office Suite software.

Minimum qualifications:      

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:  

  • Valid driver's license

Travel required:  

  • 10–20%

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
