As a full-time assistant director of enrollment, you will build strong relationships with prospective students and their parents through individualized phone, email, and text communication, as well as occasional in-person meetings. You will encourage prospective students to visit SCAD locations, meet with these students and their families during visits, and follow-up with prospective students regularly.

As an advocate for students, you will encourage the submission of portfolios for submission for SCAD scholarships, acceptance, and evaluation; provide counsel on the admission process, academics, scholarships, and financial questions; and effectively manage applicant files in SalesForce. Among other responsibilities, you will participate in Live Agent shifts twice per month, participate in webinars, and advise in-person during SCAD Days for prospective students and parents, counselors, and teachers. You will also serve as Saturday admission coverage four to five times a year and travel to off-site events as needed.

The successful candidate is an outstanding written and verbal communicator with equally exceptional presentation skills. Organized and highly detailed, the candidate is strategic in accomplishing goals. Knowledge of the web and web-based software is essential.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Must work well under pressure and be able to shift focus quickly
  • Positive attitude

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver’s license

Travel required:

  • 10–20%

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
