As a student support manager, you will organize and schedule meetings and follow-ups for students with the dean of students and the executive director of student wellbeing. You will keep accurate records of student cases and ensure confidentiality in all communications and files. Among other duties, you will monitor students receiving support to adjust care plans as needed and ensure positive outcomes. Responsibilities include the supervision of student employees, email reviews and responses, and the coordination of student support initiatives with leadership and university partners.

In this role, you will conduct research for the dean of students and executive director of student wellbeing in preparation for meetings. You will process purchase requisitions and secure approvals for the dean of students' office. Additionally, you will assist with planning departmental meetings, including agenda preparation, space reservations and setup, and A/V coordination. You will also take meeting notes and handle catering.

The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication skills. They also demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Minimum qualifications:      

  • Bachelor's degree or at least one year of related experience and training or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Travel required:  

  • Less than 10% 

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
