In this full-time role, you will maintain an active caseload of students with documented disabilities and counseling needs. You will determine academic adjustments and reasonable accommodations based on students' documentation and section 504/ADA guidelines, counsel individuals and groups, provide crisis intervention, serve in the on-call rotation, and provide community referrals.

Among other duties, you will work with the team to develop outreach and psychoeducational programming and presentations. You will also consult with faculty, staff, and parents of the SCAD community as necessary, participate in quarterly orientations, and represent BeeWell at other university events.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or closely related field
  • Clinical licensure (or license eligible)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in counseling and/or accommodations services

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Must be a licensed mental health professional (LP, LPC, APC, LCSW, BCBA, etc.)

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Travel required: Less than 10%
