As an admission representative, you will identify and recruit top-quality students across all SCAD locations and market segments under the supervision of the director of admission. You will assist with on-ground initiatives as needed, including hosting pre-tour presentations, facilitating daily tours, and providing portfolio counseling. During tours, you will monitor attendance through established check-in policies and procedures. Among other duties, you will meet with visiting prospective students and encourage them to apply and enroll to help meet SCAD's admission goals. Additionally, you will build relationships with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni through prospect outreach and LiveAgent shift coverage to create networking opportunities. You will also offer personalized support to all SCAD stakeholders.

In this role, you will maintain prompt follow-up communication with prospective students through various channels to provide information about campus visits, discuss educational interests, and answer all inquiries about the university and the admission process. You will regularly give feedback and ideas to admission leadership, assist with signature events and Pre-College programs, and travel to represent the university at events as needed. You will also develop strong partnerships with admission advisers to involve them in recruitment activities. Additionally, you will stay current on SCAD-related information, including university policies, events, accolades, and programs of study.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, customer relations, and presentation skills. They are also willing to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel as needed.

Minimum qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred qualifications: 

  • SCAD experience 

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license

Travel required:

  • Less than 10%

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
