As an admission representative, you will report directly to the associate director of on-campus recruitment and operations to identify and recruit top-quality students across all university locations and market segments. Your responsibilities include building a network of teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni through prospect outreach and LiveAgent coverage. You will also assist with on-campus activities such as daily tours, prospective student meetings and presentations, and portfolio counseling to encourage applications and enrollment. Additionally, you will monitor presentation attendance using check-in policies and procedures. Among other duties, you will proactively communicate with prospective students by providing information about university visits and educational interests and answering all questions to maximize the number of right-fit students. To enhance outreach efforts, you will utilize the university’s web chat tool, LivePerson account, and website.

In this role, you will actively participate in admission training sessions and stay updated on university policies, events, accolades, and programs by regularly monitoring SCAD resources. Other responsibilities include building partnerships with admission advisers to engage them in recruitment activities and consistently providing feedback to leadership. Additionally, you will assist with university events, including SCAD Days, pre-college programs, and other initiatives. You may also travel to school-specific events, information sessions, and other recruitment activities. Other duties may be assigned at any time to prepare talented students for professional careers, emphasizing learning through individual attention in a positively oriented university environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication, advanced customer relations, and presentation skills for large audiences. They can travel and are able to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SCAD experience

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license

Travel required:

  • Less than 10% 

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
