As an assistant director of enrollment, you will foster relationships with applicants as they navigate the admission and enrollment process through active communication, preparing completed applications for review. Each day, you will handle a high volume of phone calls and emails from applicants and educators, answering questions about university policies and requirements based on degree type for admission, scholarship, financial aid, and enrollment. You will also record and track active applicant files and contacts in Salesforce, Banner, and Application Xtender; maintain daily appointments with Calendly; and complete data-driven outreach projects. Responsibilities include meeting with applicants and families during visits to discuss their interests and answer questions and preparing deposit paid students for enrollment through proactive communication and encouragement to pay quarterly balances by published due dates.

 

In this role, you will prioritize outreach to right-fit students using reports, adviser ratings, and Pardot and complete other date-driven outreach projects. You will serve as the primary financial aid contact for applicants to explain the federal aid process and discuss the estimated cost of attendance. This responsibility will include reviewing portfolios, résumés, and other potential scholarship guidelines to advocate for students seeking assistance. Among other duties, you will stay informed about all university policies and procedures to convey accurate information about SCAD and congratulate accepted students. Additionally, you will participate in various to reach prospective students at various point in the admission cycle, such as webinars, online chat sessions, LiveAgent Shifts, and SCAD Days, to reach prospective students at various point in the admission cycle.

 

The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills. The candidate is attentive to detail and exhibits a strategic ability to achieve goals. They should perform well under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude to quickly shift focus. The candidate must also be able to participate in occasional Saturday tour coverage and travel to support off-campus events.

 

Minimum qualifications:      

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends

 

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:  

  • Valid driver's license

 

Travel required:  

  • 10–20%

 

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
