An assistant kitchen manager job involves consistently providing guests with an outstanding dining experience, a variety of tasks related to food preparation and kitchen maintenance, while providing team members with development opportunities.

Position Summary: SCAD seeks an experienced assistant kitchen manager for Gryphon, its premier dining location in historic Savannah, Georgia.

Minimum Qualifications:
An assistant kitchen manager job requires a high school diploma or equivalent education. Persons who have completed post secondary culinary programs are preferred for the post of assistant kitchen manager. Knowledge of personal computers or ability to acquire appropriate-level skills in computer use and in restaurant software use is essential. An assistant kitchen manager is also required to possess problem solving and analytical skills.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
