As assistant manager, you will oversee seamless operation of the dining room, bar, and banquet setting through the following duties: creating requisitions and purchasing supplies, communicating with the kitchen and bakery staff regarding specials menus, inspecting food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations, investigating and resolving food quality and service complaints, reviewing financial transactions, and monitoring the restaurant’s budget.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver’s license
Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be approved to drive a SCAD vehicle
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
Travel required: Less than 10%
