As the associate chair, you will assist with SCAD's primary objective to provide educational opportunities of excellent quality to its students within a professional environment wherein knowledge, creativity, discipline, and character are developed. As the chair, you will teach courses, render professional services at times and places determined by the university, and attend on-campus events. Additionally, you may be required to participate in faculty councils or other extra-curricular events.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Terminal degree in interactive design and game development or a related field
  • Experience in or knowledge of related professions
  • Academic and professional credentials to teach in the discipline

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Teaching experience at the collegiate level 

Travel required:

  • Less than 10%

Work Hours: As noted in the employment agreement.
