As the assistant director of admission, you will interact with prospective students through creative presentations and individual attention. In this role, you will identify and recruit high-caliber students for SCAD, planning and coordinating travel as needed to represent the college at events. You will be responsible for following up with prospective students via phone or email to discuss individual interests and to answer any questions, and provide admission information and needed supporting documents. This position includes extensive travel: 18 weeks in the fall and 12–15 weeks in the spring.   

Minimum Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor's degree   

  • Excellent writing, presentation, and organizational skills  

  • Ability to work independently   

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver's license   

Travel required:

  • Over 50%  

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
