As an architectural modeling and visualization specialist, you will transform conceptual designs into detailed 3D models, visualizations, and presentations that enhance architectural and interior design project communication and decision-making. You will assist in design concept refining, preparation of presentation materials, and coordination with the design team to maintain project vision and integrity. Your expertise will help streamline the design process, ensure consistency, and produce compelling architectural visualizations that align with project goals.

You will collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements; produce virtual reality (VR) walkthroughs and animations for immersive experiences; and optimize rendering workflows for efficiency while maintaining visual fidelity. You will use software like Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion to produce professional visualizations and enhance presentations with post-production techniques using Photoshop or other graphic design tools. Among other duties, you will maintain a rendering library of materials, textures, and assets for consistency across projects.

The successful candidate remains current on industry trends and emerging technologies in architectural visualization. A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of lighting, composition, and material accuracy is paramount, as is the ability to work under tight deadlines. The candidate should be able to effectively manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and demonstrate excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.

  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, graphic design, animation, or a related discipline
  • Proficient in 3D modeling, rendering engines, and post-production software
  • Knowledge of architectural drafting and design principles
  • Minimum of three to five years of related professional experience, to include architectural visualization and rendering 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Registered architect or NCIDQ Certified interior designer
  • Experience with BIM software (Revit, SketchUp) and CAD tools

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver's license

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
