As a full-time coordinator, you will develop and deliver tailored workshops and classroom presentations and will work with faculty to develop resources and strategies that achieve writing-specific learning outcomes. You will conduct individual and group appointments with students, both virtually and in person, and produce online resources and promotional outreach materials for language tutoring and for the Writers’ Studio. You will also supervise, hire, and train English language and writing peer tutors, among other responsibilities.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in English or a relevant discipline
  • Professional experience in tutoring, writing assistance, or related activities

 

Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching English as a Second Language

 

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: TESOL certification preferred

 

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
