As a coordinator for curriculum and assessment, you will proofread and edit all documents, including reports, originating from the curriculum and assessment department. You will also manage the team calendar and coordinate travel arrangements. Among other responsibilities, you will conduct research and compile information to support curriculum and assessments, as well as prepare statistical reports for leadership. Additionally, you will serve as the department's primary point of contact, handle inquiries, and coordinate communication with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with university leaders across various departments to ensure the timely completion of projects using relevant management platforms. You will plan and carry out curriculum councils, team events, internal meetings, industry visits, and more, including arrangements for catering, A/V equipment, and logistics. Among other duties, you will facilitate communication between departments, schedule meetings, and report on project progress. You will also manage reminders and track the progress of departmental outcomes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual department outcomes. Additionally, you will oversee comprehensive project management for academic appeals.

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication, organization, time, and project management skills. They can prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and meet strict deadlines. The candidate is also highly detail oriented.

Minimum qualifications:      

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and at least one year of related experience
  • At least three years of experience in academic or student services settings
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Asana)

Travel required:  

  •  At least 10%

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
