Posting Text: In this role, you will perform both administrative and logistical duties, as well as support services for building operations. You will be responsible for departmental purchase requests, the processing of departmental travel and reimbursement requests, and the maintenance of the departmental calendar, which includes building inspecting schedules, important event dates, executive administration walk-through and classroom visits, and tour schedules. Among other duties, you will also create building-condition-assessment reports, enter work orders, and coordinate to completion multiple tasks by various tradespeople and SCAD departments.
The successful candidate is a spectacular written and verbal communicator with equally exceptional organization skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, is essential.
Position Summary: SCAD seeks a full-time design group coordinator to join its team in historic Savannah, Georgia.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree plus three to five years related experience
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Successful work experience in a design, construction and/or facility maintenance environment preferred
Certificates, licenses and registrations:
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office software suite (specifically Word and Excel)
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to transportation
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
