12 Month Hourly Staff FT
This position is responsible for the operations and maintenance of SCAD’s direct-to-textile & dye sublimation printers as well as the post-processing equipment. This position will also be responsible for educating students & faculty on proper file setup, textile requirements & utilization of the fabric printers.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred; high-school diploma required.Proficient with Photoshop & very comfortable with learning new software and technology.Familiar with the fabric dyeing process & post-processing equipment.Familiar with digital printing equipment, techniques, fabrics, other substrates & safety procedures.An ideal candidate should have technical fashion skills & experience in their application.Proficient in the following computer programs: Photoshop & Illustrator.Independent worker.Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator, or similar modeling/graphics programs.Ability to learn other proprietary printing software• Wasatch• Canon RIP software • Thrive
Certificates, licenses and registrations: valid driver's license
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
