SCAD Savannah seeks an experienced digital media systems manager to coordinate the operations of the systems group at Montgomery Hall.
Position Summary:
In this full-time position, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that all computers and servers at Montgomery Hall are fully operational; all required software is procured, licensed, tested, and installed with collaboration from faculty; and that relevant technologies are integrated within SCAD standards. Among other responsibilities, you will also build operating systems images for all lab computers, perform backups, and manage a team of six techs, including hiring, training, evaluating, and other supervisory duties.
The qualified candidate has experience leading technical teams in an educational environment. Knowledge of media workflows, including audio-visual acquisition, media production, computer animation, and output rendering, is essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
Comprehensive experience with all operating systems including Linux, Max OS and various versions of Windows. Experience leading technical teams in an educational environment. Knowledge of media workflows including audio video acquisition, media production, computer animation and rendering the output. BS in Computer Science or related field.
3-5 years experience in Systems Administration.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
