SCAD Savannah seeks an experienced director of recruitment to lead a stellar team of assistant directors of admission for select domestic regions.In this full-time position, you will build strong relationships and networks with teachers, prospective students and their parents, and alumni through spectacular presentations, individual attention, and occasional in-person meetings. You will build the recruitment strategy for your assigned region and drive the next steps in the enrollment process. In this role, you will practice and promote excellent, individualized customer service for all prospective students and will also advise these students on best program fit, admission and eligibility requirements, financial aid and scholarships, and first-time enrollment concerns. You will also manage an advisement caseload for a select population of students.As a director, you will advise and approve regional travel to strategically identified high schools, community colleges, universities, college fairs, and conferences. You will monitor follow-up communication with prospective students through call-a-thons, LivePerson sessions, emails, and social media; develop opportunities to strengthen ties between recruitment and admission; and participate in special events. Among other duties, you will compile quarterly reports, attend relevant conferences to recruit and strengthen regional relationships, attend summer and winter training at both domestic SCAD locations, and ensure that events are entered into the departmental database and calendar.The successful candidate is an outstanding written and verbal interpersonal communicator with equally exceptional presentation skills. Organized and highly detailed, the candidate is strategic in accomplishing goals and is able to thrive as an independent contributor. Knowledge of the web and web-based software is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline• Ability to travel extensively• Ability to work outside office hours, including evenings and weekends as needed• Valid driver’s license

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
