Position Summary: SCAD seeks a Director of Public Relations for Executive Administration to develop and execute effective public relations initiatives in line with the university's mission and in support of executive administration leaders. In this role, you will develop public relations involving local, regional, national and international media and social media opportunities. Initiatives will cover institutional recognition, community engagement and university publications. The executive director must be creative and flexible, must be motivated by achieving measurable results and must have a comprehensive understanding of leadership goals. The ideal candidate has exceptional project management, organizational and analytical skills. You have demonstrated success in building executives as thought leaders and authorities in their fields of expertise and in formulating and implementing brand development and execution that meets stated goals. Impeccable writing, editing and oral communication skills are essential.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
