As a SCADhome concierge specialist, you will manage operational and administrative tasks, including email communications and other correspondence, as well as file maintenance. You will direct calls to connect students with the appropriate department, respond to all student inquiries about SCADhome, and oversee the help desk. Additionally, you will assist students with referrals, provide contact information, and schedule appointments with various departments and resources. Your responsibilities include the management of confidential matters with accuracy according to deadlines and qualitative and quantitative data analysis to enhance the SCAD student experience. 

In this role, you will actively reach out to students regarding upcoming events and activities, send reminders for important dates, and provide strategies for success. You will assist students with referrals, share contact information, and schedule appointments with various departments and resources. Additionally, you will work extended hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet student needs. As a specialist, you will collaborate as well as work independently.  

The ideal candidate is organized, honest, disciplined, and demonstrates integrity. The candidate can effectively manage multiple priorities and has excellent communication and customer service skills. 

Minimum qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • At least one year of related professional experience  

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Banner or a similar database 

 Preferred qualifications:  

  • Professional experience in an academic environment  

Travel required:  

  • Less than 10% 

Work hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
