12 Month Hourly Staff FT
SCAD seeks an experienced electrical maintenance technician to maintain and manage repair of electrical systems, lighting systems, as well as general maintenance for all university properties. This position is identified as essential personnel in the university’s emergency and disaster response plans. In the event of a university closure or evacuation, all essential personnel shall report.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or five years electrical experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, licenses and registrations: A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle report run by SCAD and/or SCAD's insurance/comply with SCAD driving policy.
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
