As an employee development content creator, you will support the university’s dynamic employee development programs, which include customized training for all departments through small and large workshops, one-on-one coaching, and content creation. The content you produce includes videos, printed program materials, presentations, online resources, and more that support and enhance all aspects of the university’s employee professional development programs, HR communications, and recruitment efforts. You will utilize graphics, animation, and multimedia effects to develop visually engaging instructional materials. You will also incorporate department branding and innovative marketing into materials, social media posts, emails, and website designs. Additionally, you will stay current with industry trends to create high-quality videos for training purposes, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.

In this role, you will coordinate with the employee development and HR teams on event setup, table and material designs, and photography. You will also maintain a library of instructional media assets for easy access and reuse. Additionally, you will manage a repository of design templates and style guides to ensure brand consistency across materials for HR programs, events, employee development, benefits, and recruitment marketing. Among other duties, you will conduct design reviews and evaluations to ensure all materials meet accessibility standards for inclusivity and gather feedback for continuous improvements.

Additionally, they stay committed to design aesthetics and instructional media excellence.

Minimum qualifications:  

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience working in an innovative, fast-paced, and professional environment
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and presentation-specific software including Keynote or PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, motion graphics, or a related field

Travel required:

  • Less than 10%

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
