12 Month Salaried Staff FT
As a graduate adviser, you will serve as a resource for students from all SCAD locations. Through a variety of communication mediums, you will form positive working relationships with your assigned students and provide a thorough understanding of curriculum, graduate policies and requirements, registration, and the financial aid and billing process, while also serving as a resource for graduate students. You will also work closely with personnel from across the SCAD community to support these objectives.
The successful candidate is flexible, able to adapt quickly to students’ needs, and demonstrates a genuine interest in student success and education. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. The candidate should thrive as both an independent contributor and as a member of the team and should work well in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills are also vital.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
