SCAD Savannah seeks an experienced head coach to manage the daily operations of the men's lacrosse team.In this full-time role, you will coach and instruct student-athletes on the strategies and techniques necessary to prepare for athletic competition. You will also engage in relationship building within the SCAD community to establish a positive opinion of SCAD athletics and lacrosse in particular.The successful candidate is an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and demonstrates the ability to cultivate effective working relationships in a team-oriented environment. A commitment to discipline, honesty, and integrity is essential, as are strong organizational and time-management skills. The candidate should also have experience managing budgets and fundraising in a college environment.Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline· One to three years of intercollegiate lacrosse coaching experience· Knowledge of NAIA guidelines, federal regulations, and other policies governing intercollegiate athletics· Successful work experience in an academic environment preferred

Experience in fund-raising in a college environment Experience managing budgets Demonstrated commitment to student development
Preferred Qualifications: Successful work experience in an academic environment preferred
Certificates, licenses and registrations: Membership with any National Lacrosse Coaches Association
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
