SCAD Savannah seeks an experienced head coach to manage the daily operations of the men's soccer team.

Position Summary: Functions as the Head Coach for Men’s Soccer: Analyzes performance and instructs
student-athletes in strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition by
performing the essential duties. Also to teach, coach, and instruct artist-athletes in the
sport of Soccer. Engage in successful community relations within the college community
to establish a positive opinion of SCAD athletics in general and SCAD Soccer in
particular among SCAD Students, faculty, and other employees.
In this full-time role, you will coach and instruct student-athletes on the strategies and
techniques necessary to prepare for athletic competition. You will also engage in
relationship building within the SCAD community to establish a positive opinion of SCAD
athletics and soccer in particular.
The successful candidate is an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and
demonstrates the ability to cultivate effective working relationships in a team-oriented
environment. A commitment to discipline, honesty, and integrity is essential, as are
strong organizational and time-management skills.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree, plus one to three years of head college coaching in the sport
of soccer
Successful work experience in an academic environment preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)
Must display discipline, honesty, integrity, and be able to handle multiple priorities

Certificates, licenses and registrations: Valid Driver's License ; CPR & AED 

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
