SCAD Savannah seeks an experienced adjunct professor of game development to use their in-depth knowledge of the Unreal game engine, including blueprinting, and real-time art and effects to instruct and inspire remarkable students as they reach their professional goals in the game industry.

As game development faculty member, you will work with a team of esteemed professional and academic colleagues in administering program curriculum and fostering a positive community for the next generation of game developers.

The university seeks an experienced candidate that has worked in the game industry, has worked on at least two shipped titles,  and can leverage this inside knowledge to instruct students how to work as a professional within the game development pipeline. The candidate should have at least one specialization and area of expertise related to game development, like real-time VFX, system and level design (game design), or environment art.

Minimum Qualifications: 

- Terminal degree in the discipline or in a related field. 

- Experience in or knowledge of related professions.

- Academic and professional credentials to teach in a certain discipline.

Work Hours: As noted in the Employment Agreement.
