Part-time Professor of SCAD Language Studio

SCAD seeks an experienced, part-time professor to join its SCAD Language Studio faculty in historic Savannah, Ga. In this role, you will provide international students with English language skills that will help them successfully pursue their studies. In addition to traditional teaching duties, you will also offer individual tutoring.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in TESOL, applied linguistics, foreign language education, or language arts with ESL endorsements
  • At least two to four years of related professional experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to be credentialed through SACS guidelines or justified to teach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Collegiate teaching experience
  • Four to 10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of a second language and culture 

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver’s license

Work Hours: As noted in the Employment Agreement.
