SCAD seeks a dynamic and dedicated part-time professor to join the SCAD Language Studio faculty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching English to speakers of other languages and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The part-time Professor of ESL will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective ESL instruction to a diverse student body. In this role you will teach courses and host contact hours as determined by your credentials and university needs.

Minimum Qualifications:  

·     Terminal degree/ Master's degree in related discipline

·      Experience or knowledge of related industries

·      Teaching experience at the collegiate level

·      Knowledge of a 2nd language and culture

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:  

·      Valid driver’s license

Travel Required:  

·      Less than 10% 

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.   Classes are offered Monday through Thursday 8am to 10:30pm.
