12 Month Hourly Staff FT
Photographers for Visual Media report to the Creative Director of Visual Media and is primarily responsible for creating all images used by the university in print, web, video, presentations, social media, PR, advertising and more.
Position Summary: SCAD seeks an experienced photographer to join its visual media team in historic Savannah, Ga. In this full-time position, your primary responsibility will be creating images used in SCAD print, web, video, presentations, social media, PR initiatives, advertising, and more.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’ s degree in related field- 2-3 years plus commercial or editorial photographic experience preferred- Must be creatively and technically proficient in commercial, photo journalistic, studio, lifestyle and portrait photography while athletics, exhibition, architectural – exteriors and interiors photography experience is a plus- Technical photo finishing and retouching ability using adobe creative suite- Valid driver’ s license
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
