General education is an essential component of the SCAD undergraduate experience. It helps students develop into critical thinkers by providing an intellectual foundation and desire for knowledge that inspires lifelong learning. SCAD Savannah seeks candidates to contribute to this objective as a full-time professor teaching psychology under the university’s general education core curriculum.
The position requires teaching excellence, exemplary communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse student body. Experience in creative and collaborative enterprises is preferred.

Requirements:- Ph.D. in psychology- Five or more years of college-level teaching experience in psychology- Ability to teach undergraduate-level courses to art and design majors- Knowledge in research methods and design preferred
- Terminal degree in related discipline.- Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.- Experience or knowledge of related industries.- Ability to be credentialed through SACS guidelines or justified to teach.
Work Hours: As noted in the Employment Agreement.
