SCAD Savannah seeks a nationally recognized themed entertainment designer to join its faculty as a full-time professor.
Themed entertainment designers bring the stories and experiences of our world to life. They weave fictional and non-fictional narratives into compelling environments — places that elicit wonder and joy, communicate complex ideas, and translate emotional values into tangible experiences. The SCAD themed entertainment design program blends studios in design and planning with skill-based drawing and technical courses and classes in storytelling and experience design. Using your design expertise and proven technical skills, you will teach a vibrant curriculum in a graduate program which is the first of its kind in the world.
Successful candidates are accomplished professionals with experience across a broad range of entertainment venues, including attractions, museums, brand environments, retail, theme parks, and leisure destinations.
