As a full-time residence director, you will live in and manage all aspects of your assigned residence hall, including staffing, programming, and maintenance. Through daily work, you will build positive relationships with residents, serving as an educator, resource, and referral agent as needed. You will resolve student concerns and answer questions, participate in the on-call rotation, serve as a student conduct hearing officer, and support overall student success.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in higher education, student development, counseling, or a related discipline
  • Professional experience in a college residential or other group living environment


Preferred Qualifications: Live-in, residence life and housing experience as a graduate student


Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license


Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
