As a SCADamp coach and events lead, you will create, promote, and deliver workshops, trainings, coaching sessions, and professional development opportunities to support students, alumni, faculty, and staff. You will coach faculty and staff to implement professional communication best practices that elevate presentations in both physical and virtual environments. Among other duties, you will support university initiatives and events, such as SCAD Days, Teaching Success Program (TSP), and student orientations. Responsibilities include direct supervision and training over assigned SCADamp coaches and collaborations with studio leadership and the Atlanta-based events lead to assist with the planning and execution of SCADamp-hosted events. This collaboration is to ensure the alignment of quality enhancement plan goals and expectations across both SCAD locations.

At the request of SCADamp leadership, you will support programming offered to external executive audiences, alumni coaching, and various events. Events include NET-WORK-SHOP and SCADamp certificate celebrations. You will manage accurate workshop, coaching, and event participation data. Additionally, you will serve as a primary point of contact for production of large-format, integrated workshops across the curriculum as requested by studio leadership. You will also maintain a schedule of independent work while actively contributing to a highly collaborative team.

As a SCADamp events lead, you may also liaise with other departments requesting event support from the department. This includes assisting with the management of SCADamp Stars student scholarship recipients, as well as event rehearsal coaching. Overall, you will serve as an ambassador for SCADamp — and as a professional role model to faculty, staff, and students — through a positive, collaborative, solutions-oriented, and communicative approach.
