As a talent partner, you will be responsible for staff selection in your designated departments. You will forward qualified candidates to supervisors; extend formal offers of employment; initiate paperwork for new hires; maintain confidentiality of all human resources information before, during, and after the entire recruiting hiring process; and maintain applicant files for reference and retention purposes. 

In this position, you will collaborate with hiring supervisors to determine staffing needs and decide where to advertise open positions. You will also develop and maintain contact with organizations, agencies, and the community for recruitment purposes and participate in fairs, conferences, and events related to recruitment. Among other duties, you will also write advertisements or edit advertisements as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two years (min.) of experience in human resources or higher education
  • Proven results in recruiting utilizing various social media platforms

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver's license

Travel required:

  • 10–20%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
