12 Month Hourly Staff FT
SCAD seeks a knowledgeable tech support analyst to join its team full time in historic Savannah, Ga.
Position Summary: In this role, you will serve as the initial point of client contact for technical issues via phone, email, walk-ins, and the support center’s ticketing system. You will provide initial problem-solving information for all software applications and operating systems across SCAD (PC and Mac) and document all client contact. You will also document and enter service requests using the Web Help Desk management software, follow up with clients for satisfactory service resolution, and provide exceptional levels of customer service.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Customer service experience, 1-3 years of technical support experience supporting PC/Mac or training is required. HDI Certified Help Desk Analyst is a plus but is not required
Preferred Qualifications: HDI Certified Help Desk Analyst is a plus but is not requiredBonus proficiencies: Xbox OS, Orbis OS, Indepth W-Fi and troubleshooting skills for mobile devices.
Certificates, licenses and registrations: Valid driver's license
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
