As a SCAD videographer, your primary responsibility will be the visualization and filming of visual media projects and supporting departmental initiatives that elevate the implementation of best-in-class videography to be used across the university's media ecosystem. You will work with the cinematographer, Savannah and Atlanta-based videographers, and freelancers to create collateral for marketing materials, admission, recruitment, the university's academic schools, and SCAD signature events using sophisticated ideation in line with industry standards, trends, and best practices.
The successful candidate is a creative problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail who can assess needs and react in real-time to troubleshoot technical, location, and talent issues. Technical knowledge of how to maintain an extensive inventory of film, lighting, and sound equipment is essential, as is the initiative to stay current on necessary upgrades. The ability to lift, transport, and set up large film production equipment (e.g., dolly, jib, gimbal, light, and grip equipment) is also a must.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
