SCAD seeks a visionary Web Content Strategist with proven professional experience working with online content in desktop and mobile environments.
Position Summary: The Web Content Strategist reports to the Director of Content Strategy and is primarily responsible for the management, publication and general maintenance of content for SCAD.edu and its many associated sites. The Web Content Strategist will work closely with visual designers and editorial staff to create clean, elegant designs and interactions within SCAD web applications and to ensure the university's online content is as updated and user-friendly as possible. This role will also serve as the point-person for investigating and extracting data-driven insights for the university's online properties and preparing data reports and user profiles for specific pieces of content, both before and after publication.
Minimum Qualifications: -Bachelor of Arts degree (English, journalism, writing or professional communications concentration preferred). Master's degree, a strong plus. -3-5 years of professional experience developing and/or implementing interactive content within a digital agenc
Preferred Qualifications: -Bachelor of Arts degree required and preferred in the field of english, journalism, writing or professional communications concentration -Master's Degree a plus
Certificates, licenses and registrations: Valid driver's license
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
