Associate Chair of Animation

SCAD Savannah seeks an Associate Chair of Animation to provide vision and leadership for the university’s animation department. In this position, you will use your technical proficiency and expertise to develop and teach a curriculum that explores animation styles from stop-motion to 2D and 3D animation.

Visual effects artists are masters of illusion, creating believable images that are impossible or impractical to shoot in the real world. As a professor, you will help remarkable students actualize their own creative visions. In this full-time role, you will use your experience as a 3D generalist to advance SCAD students’ preparation for their creative careers.

Motion Graphics Artist

As a motion graphics artist, you will ensure department-produced graphics support SCAD’s mission and goals set by university leaders. You will be responsible for collaborating with a team of artists, strategists, designers, and writers to develop creative assets for SCAD events, recruitment, and marketing.

Enterprise Application Developer II

As a full-time enterprise application developer, you will work in accordance with the university’s software development lifecycle to design and develop both new software applications and enhancements to existing software applications that meet business specifications. You will help plan the continuous evolution of in-house, web-based solutions; assist in leading the development, testing, and implementation of these solutions; and help determine design methodologies and tool sets for new application development.

SCADamp Visualization Coach

As a SCADamp visualization coach, you will create, promote, and deliver a variety of workshops, trainings, and professional development opportunities to support the SCAD community. With an emphasis on visual communication, you will offer out-of-class workshops, provide one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions, and develop presentation and workshop materials that supplement SCADamp offerings.

As the interactive designer, you will directly support the recruitment of new students worldwide for all SCAD locations, as well as internal operations and communications. In this position you will work with the interactive team to translate strategy, information architecture, wireframes, and business goals into production-ready assets.
