As professor, you will use your enthusiasm for mentoring exceptional students to teach the history of fashion as well as the technical skills necessary for students to hone their abilities. The successful candidate has extensive experience in fashion design, including womenswear, menswear, knitwear, contemporary, and denim, among others. Strong technical sewing, flat pattern cutting, and draping skills are vital to this role, as is knowledge of the manufacturing process.

The successful candidate can skillfully articulate a vision of graphic design education in the 21st century that aligns with the department’s mission to produce preeminent visual communicators who connect research, social responsibility, and pragmatism to deliver spectacular content.
