Safety Officer

As the safety officer, you will patrol assigned areas to ensure personal, building, and equipment security by examining doors, windows, and gates with university keys to open and close them. In this role you will monitor closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities; provide escort services for visitors, students, staff, and faculty; and provide public assistance, such as lockout services, jump-starts, and routine information.

Cook 

The cook is responsible for estimating food consumption and procuring necessary ingredients, ensuring supplies meet established quality and quantity standards. They will select and develop recipes, prepare food (including tasks such as carving meats and trimming or cutting ingredients), and collaborate with other team members to prepare meals. Additionally, the cook will provide guidance on portion sizes and garnishing methods to ensure consistency and presentation align with standards.

Admission Records Specialist

As the admission records specialist, you will code undergraduate and the Rising Star program admission acceptances and scholarship amounts in the database. Your responsibilities will include preparing and mailing award letters and certificates, printing and reviewing acceptance/scholarship letters for content and accuracy, editing when necessary, and periodically assisting with electronically indexing scholarship letters into each recipient’s file for university access.

Auxiliary Technology Specialist I

As an auxiliary technology specialist, you will process meal plan changes and cancellations in the Admin Meal Plan Portal. You will be responsible for processing all Atrium System updates, including SCAD Card holder changes, the approval and saving of photos, and the production of all SCAD-issued ID cards using Fargo Connect technology. You will also participate in orientation for new students, process parking detail requests via TickeTrak, and encode ID cards for residential access in the Onity System.

Information Security Analyst

As an information security analyst, you will monitor and advise on information security issues related to systems and workflows to ensure that the university's internal security controls are appropriate and operating as intended. You will be responsible for the management of security applications, including firewalls, intrusion prevention, endpoint security, and more. You will coordinate and implement information technology (IT) security projects, responses to security incidents, and vulnerabilities with IT management, the legal department, safety and security, and law enforcement agencies.

Application Developer II

As a full-time enterprise application developer, you will work in accordance with the university’s software development lifecycle to design and develop both new software applications and enhancements to existing software applications that meet business specifications. You will help plan the continuous evolution of in-house, web-based solutions; assist in leading the development, testing, and implementation of these solutions; and help determine design methodologies and tool sets for new application development. You will also support all IT-related university initiatives.

HVAC Technician

As the HVAC technician, you will perform maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency, such as filter replacement, troubleshooting and replacing fan motors, and more while performing routine jobs. Responsibilities include repairing commercial 5-40 ton and residential ton HVAC systems and assisting with replacement work 1-40 ton, refrigerant piping, drain piping, wiring of systems, and charging of systems.

As an administrative assistant, you will support the office of academic services and departmental leadership— including the dean, associate vice president, executive director, and academic operations managers— in initiatives and ongoing collaborative projects. You will manage all mail, email, and fax correspondences that should be answered by departmental leadership and maintain an accurate file system for their records.

Windows System Administrator II

As a windows system administrator, your primary responsibilities will be all aspects of Windows systems administration, including deployment, configuration, standardization, security analysis, maintenance, disaster planning, technical review of products and alternatives, optimization of virtual environments, and SAN integration. You will deploy, configure, and secure Windows servers and workstations in both physical and virtual environments, review hardware and software requirements to provide customized server-based solutions using best practices, and will also analyze, test, review, and adjust host security standards and best practices on a regular basis. You will analyze and respond to performance metrics and problems, troubleshoot and modify server operation systems and their installed components, and analyze and test recovery strategies and DR procedures for server operating systems and their installed components.

Linux Systems Administrator II

As a Linux systems administrator II, you will deploy, configure, and secure Linux servers using automation tools and custom-built scripts in physical and virtual environments. You will monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network-connected equipment to ensure optimal functionality while overseeing user accounts, file storage, and security permissions. You will be responsible for the review and enhancement of host security standards— including the analysis of security practices and recommendations for improvements to bolster overall security effectiveness. You will also analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to meet operational requirements.
